Job Description

Full-time opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Orthopedic Surgical Sports Medicine team supporting the Indian Trail location. This APP will support a Surgical Sports Medicine physician joining the Union market and will function as an integrated member of the Orthopedic Surgical care team across clinic and procedural environments.

Job Responsibility

  • Clinical and surgical support within a high-volume Orthopedic Surgical Sports practice
  • Evaluation and management of orthopedic conditions and injuries
  • Assist in surgical coordination and perioperative patient management
  • Perform procedures within scope including splinting, bracing, casting, injections/aspirations, and wound care
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging and collaborate on treatment planning

Requirements

  • Licensed or eligible to practice in North Carolina as one of the following: Physician Assistant
  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
  • Graduate from an accredited PA or ACNP program required
  • National board certification required (NCCPA or ANCC/AANP as applicable)
  • DEA license required or eligible
  • Eligible for prescriptive authority through the NC Medical Board or NC Board of Nursing
  • BLS for Healthcare Provider from AHA required with expiration greater than 90 days from start date
