This is a phenomenal opportunity to be the hip and knee specialist within Jacksonville Beach. Baptist Health has the most robust clinically integrated network. This Surgeon will be instrumental in the continued growth of our orthopedic service line. We seek a surgeon with a strong commitment to quality outcomes and a desire to practice in a collegial environment.

  • Be the hip and knee specialist within Jacksonville Beach

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Completion of an accredited Fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery (Total Joint)
  • Active/Unrestricted Medical License in Florida (or ability to obtain one)
  • 5-7 years Residency Training Required
  • Licensed Physician Required

Nice to have:

Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred

  • Scrub on all cases
  • Giving breaks and/or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations
  • Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next day’s cases
  • Maintain Sterile field during procedures
  • Handing instruments to surgeons, anticipating surgeon’s needs
  • Maintaining and updating preference cards
