Job Responsibility

Adjustment of fixed and removable appliances
Taking impressions and digital scans
Fitting orthodontic bands and attachments
Removing appliances and providing retention
Delivering oral hygiene and appliance care advice
Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with GDC standards

Orthodontic Therapist qualification
At least two years’ post-qualification experience
Clinically confident
Digitally capable

Job Responsibility

Deliver high-quality orthodontic treatment under prescription
Support predominantly adult orthodontic treatments, including Invisalign, fixed appliances, and retainers
Assist in treatment planning and workflows for both clear aligners and fixed appliances
Provide a relaxed, patient-centred experience
Confident use of intra-oral scanners, clinical photography, and the Invisalign portal
Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate, detailed clinical records
Uphold the highest standards of cross-infection control and clinical governance
Deliver exceptional chairside communication, education, and reassurance
Contribute positively to a collaborative, supportive team culture

GDC registration as an Orthodontic Therapist
Ideally 2+ years’ post-qualification experience (preferred, not essential)
Confidence using digital scanning and orthodontic software
Excellent communication and chairside manner
A calm, organised, and professional approach
Strong ethical standards and up-to-date CPD
The ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
A clinical portfolio and excellent references (desirable)
A social media presence is an advantage, but not essential

Job Responsibility

Deliver orthodontic treatment in line with GDC scope of practice under prescription
Place and remove orthodontic appliances, including fixed appliances and aligner attachments
Support predominantly adult orthodontic cases, including Invisalign and fixed appliances
Take digital scans, clinical photographs, and orthodontic records using advanced digital technology
Change archwires, ligatures, and carry out prescribed adjustments
Monitor patient progress, support reviews, and coordinate treatment journeys
Provide clear oral hygiene instruction and patient education throughout treatment
Maintain exceptional standards of cross-infection control and clinical governance
Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and coordination teams to deliver a seamless patient experience
