As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.
Job Responsibility
Achieving sales quotas through a network of independent distributors and maintaining/supporting the current business in the region
Building and executing plans to drive surgeon and distributor adoption of Baxter's bone graft solutions
Developing a strong sustainable pipeline using company CRM and forecasting tools
Identifying and maintaining professional relationships with key opinion leaders (orthopedic and neurosurgeons) in your region
Supervising the recruitment/management of independent distributors in the region including field sales calls and training
Providing support at key events in the US and representing the company responsibly and courteously to all third-party contacts and associates
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 8+ years of operating room sales experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Clinical background and experience highly preferred (spine preferred)
The successful candidate must have shown experience with hospital-based selling in the operating room as well as experience leading a large territory
Ability to use your hunter mentality and personal accountability for achieving strong results
Proven ability to negotiate, execute, manage, and enforce sales contracts
Can effectively communicate product value proposition and comprehensive clinical information through strong negotiation and presentation skills with a deep knowledge base of sales processes and business acumen
Able to work autonomously to achieve established goals and has the ability to understand and adapt to market dynamics to forecast effectively
Travel requirement at least 50% and valid driver’s license is required
