Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ORMB Developer to design, develop, and implement Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in ORMB configurations, pricing, billing, and rating engines, with hands-on experience in implementing complex billing solutions for large-scale enterprise systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and configure ORMB modules based on business requirements
  • Work on pricing, billing, and revenue management configurations within ORMB
  • Develop and maintain custom business rules, algorithms, and plug-ins using Java and ORMB frameworks
  • Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and technical documentation
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of ORMB applications
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to ensure seamless end-to-end solution delivery
  • Support production deployments, issue resolution, and post-implementation activities
  • Stay updated with the latest Oracle Utilities framework (OUAF) and ORMB product features

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of IT experience, with 5+ years hands-on in Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB)
  • Strong knowledge of OUAF (Oracle Utilities Application Framework) and ORMB data model
  • Proficiency in Java, SQL, PL/SQL, and XML within the ORMB ecosystem
  • Experience with batch configuration, web services integration, and application tuning
  • Familiarity with ORMB pricing algorithms, billing cycles, and rating engines
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Nice to have

  • Oracle ORMB Certification (preferred)
  • Experience in BFSI / Utilities / Telecom billing domains
  • Exposure to CI (Customer Information) and Revenue Management modules
  • Experience in migration and upgrade projects (e.g., ORMB 2.8 / 3.x)
