Job Description:

Analyst role in the Utility Origination team responsible for marketing renewable projects to traditional load-serving entities including regulated utilities, municipal utilities, and cooperatives. The Analyst will play a central role in leading the company's RFP response process for renewable power projects, while also contributing to bilateral marketing efforts and market research.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the RFP response process from start to finish
  • Support bilateral project marketing by preparing client-facing materials and participating in meetings
  • Contribute to market research efforts including tracking industry news and monitoring utility integrated resource plans
  • Act as primary point of contact for internal work streams
  • Draft, edit, and format proposal materials
  • Track multiple RFPs simultaneously
  • Present progress updates, risks, and recommendations to Origination leadership and senior management
  • Maintain proposal database, standard templates, and best practices
  • Support Origination team in evaluating commercial opportunities, market assessments, and PPA negotiation preparation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • 0-3 years of professional experience (internships and academic projects considered)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sales, networking, leadership, and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to synthesize inputs from diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and concepts quickly
  • Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products
  • Strong Communication, Customer/Partner Relationships, and Technology Expertise preferred
  • Proficiency/experience with data analysis tools & associated programming languages (Tableau, PowerBI, Python, SQL) is considered a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Effective communicator, verbally and in written form
  • Organization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Interest in renewable energy and the transition to a low-carbon economy

Nice to have:

Proficiency/experience with data analysis tools & associated programming languages (Tableau, PowerBI, Python, SQL)
