Job Responsibility:
Work with members and potential members in the Upper Hunter New England Local Health District
Support members to run local and state-wide campaigns
Grow the membership and power of the Union
Work with health workers who are not afraid to take on the big issues
Requirements:
Experience working with union members to build power in the workplace
Highly developed communication, political, problem solving, and dispute resolution skills
Experiencing in identifying and developing union delegates
Experience in supporting union members to run local campaigns
Experience in membership recruitment
A commitment to union values
Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills
Ability to utilise MS Office applications and a range of mobile devices and applications
Driver licence and ability to travel on a regular basis
