The Org PMO Charter Oversight Analyst is a role within the Global Program Governance organization, focused on the critical review, monitoring, and tracking of Project Management governance deliverables within Citi’s Book of Work in their compliance with Citi Program and Project Management Policy and Standards.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and support the Org PMO Charter lead with the governance processes, assessments and work with Org PMO leads to collect evidence and address observations and escalations
Define, communicate, and maintain an annual plan of governance reviews for the calendar year and define scope of the scheduled reviews
Ensure activities, reporting and other day to day activities follow the CPMC Org PMO Charter Oversight Process Control Manual and finds efficiencies in their governance processes, templates, and reporting
Assess compliance with the defined governance process and overall adequacy, through periodic governance reviews, to ensure compliance with Citi’s PM Policy and Standard requirements
Provide expertise and knowledge transfer of advanced level understanding of the Project Management principles to support the governance and oversight framework to the Org PMO teams
Interface with Taskforce leads to provide updates and communicate upcoming activities in the Org PMO Taskforce meetings
Interface with senior project management staff and Org PMO Leads regarding the reviews and escalations
Identify reports and tracks to closure findings of non-compliance as part of the governance reviews
Identify process improvement opportunities where appropriate and program manages approved enhancements accordingly
Track, monitor, and maintenance of the CPMC Key governance trackers
Provide in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master's degree
6 years of experience in PM / PMO functions or PM governance functions required
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
Clear experience in a similar function
adept at leading change, delivering results in a complex environment
Ability to manage concurrent deliverables and prioritization
Strong organization skills, time management, collaboration, facilitation, negotiation skills and ability to influence
Strong attention to detail, and ability to maintain highly detailed records of meetings, reviews, actions, and agreements
Ability to embrace and navigate the unknowns with positivity
Strong PM Knowledge, PMP preferred
Excellent in teambuilding and negotiating skills
Excellent command of MS Office Applications
Experience in working in virtual teams
Experience in working with Director Level clients and above
