Job Description

Join us as Order Support and Data management in Pune to be responsible for handling Service Now Tickets from Sales & Service, Basic Data (Material Master, Vendor Master), P2P/S2P, Quotation Process, Close Co-Ordination & communication with various stakeholders.

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for handling suppliers (Casting, Machining, Mechanical Components, Rotary Equipment, or Power Transmission)
  • Releasing PO's as per Purchase requisitions & follow up
  • Handle new part development requests(non-standard), Source to Pay
  • Float RFQ to suppliers for getting Quote
  • Validation of Quote received from E&S (Engg. & Services) & Sales
  • Negotiation with suppliers regarding technical & commercial terms
  • Quarterly reviewing inventory & planning actions to reduce Non/Slow Moving Provision
  • Lead time improvement with all suppliers for better availability
  • Responsible for Basic Data in PDL (New Item Master Creation, Defining Source in alignment with Factory & Distribution Centers)
  • Handle Service Now Ticket received from Sales & Service and closure with solution
  • Work within teams & with cross functional Basic Data/ Material Master members to align all parameters and achieve 95% BDPPI (Basic Data Process Performance Indicator)
  • Communicate with internal factory, sales for effective resolution of problems arising due to invoicing, order creation, HSN Codes etc.
  • Responsible for creation of product structure (BOM) in ERP
  • Setting up bracket price (scalable price as per lot qty)
  • Closely monitor and improve on KPIs (DOTp and SDOT)
  • Focus on Problem Resolution and optimization. Building ALPS Culture (Alfa Laval Performance System)
  • Escalate deviations in established processes, work proactively towards removal of constraints for smoother execution
  • Take active part in implementation of ALPS Installation and other projects for productivity improvements
  • Active participation in Yearly Costing Update activity.

Requirements

  • BE / DME with 4-8 years’ relevant experience in Supply Chain & Planning
  • Hands-on experience of using ERP (D365 will be added advantage)
  • Knowledge of MS office
  • Knowledge about planning tools.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Power BI (Creation of Dashboards for visibility, better decision making)
  • Knowledge of Data Extraction Tools/Language (SQL)
  • Knowledge of Advance Excel

  • Oversee the complete order-to-invoice lifecycle and establish the systems, controls, and workflows needed to ensure accurate, timely, and audit ready billing at scale
  • Embed AI and automation directly into Order Management and Billing workflows to reduce rework, eliminate manual intervention, and proactively identify discrepancies before they become billing or revenue impacting issues
  • Partner cross-functionally with Revenue Systems, Product, Engineering, GTM, Legal, and Deal Desk to ensure quoting, configuration, provisioning, billing, and ERP stay aligned and integrated as new products and pricing models launch
  • Build and enforce controls and segregation of duties, ensuring documentation, approvals, reconciliations, and exception handling are clear, repeatable, and audit ready
