Job Description

IKEA Nottingham, are looking to welcome a new Order Picker to join our Fulfilment Operations team. Join our team to receive, replenish, and move stock with care, follow safety standards, and ensure every customer order is picked, checked, and handed over with efficiency and pride.

Job Responsibility

  • Receive, replenish, and move stock with care
  • Follow safety standards
  • Ensure every customer order is picked, checked, and handed over with efficiency and pride
  • Manually handle all products ranging from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes
  • Receiving and replenishing goods with accuracy
  • Keeping accurate records of stock levels
  • Working with or around heavy machinery such as Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse
  • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers
  • Picking and checking customer orders across the store ready for delivery or click and collect
  • Handing out orders on our click and collect area

Requirements

  • Ability to prioritise and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail
  • Experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • You are prepared to act on your own initiative and to participate in group efforts
  • You are comfortable using computers and handheld devices to support with the picking/filling of stock or to answer customer questions
