Emerging services company seeks an Order Management Specialist with client facing experience. As the Order Management Specialist, you will create customer accounts, input orders, and provide order confirmations including the estimated time of shipment.
Job Responsibility:
Set up new customer accounts within SAP
Input and manage both new and existing orders in SAP
Acknowledge receipt of purchase orders (POs) and provide order confirmations within 48 hours
Collaborate with the purchasing team and utilize SAP functionality to identify product-specific lead times
Communicate estimated shipping dates and send order confirmations to customers
Prepare and issue Proforma Invoices for customers
Check stock availability and communicate lead times as needed
Cross-check part numbers to ensure accuracy on customer purchase orders
Verify and confirm correct pricing details on customer purchase orders
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
2+years experience desired but not required
SAP experience preferred
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and analytical skills
Detail oriented and ability to multitask
Ability to organize, manage and control various tasks
