The Order Management & Logistics Intern, directly reporting to the Demand Planning & Logistics Senior Manager and operating within a structured manufacturing environment, will be focused on supporting inventory management and order processing activities, coordinating shipment preparation and operational communication across multiple company functions and logistics teams.
Job Responsibility
Receiving product requests from multiple company functions
Checking warehouse stock to assess product availability based on the requests received
Support in stock management, order processing, and shipment coordination
Entering orders into the system with product details and delivery address
Issuing picking lists for order preparation
Providing instructions to the logistics team regarding the courier/service to be used, after consultation with the Logistics Manager
Updating different teams on shipment status and merchandise delivery
Requirements
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Logistics, or a related field, or a strong interest in and basic understanding of logistics, operations, and inventory management
Good knowledge of Excel is essential
Fluent English required
Detail-oriented and well-organized, with strong multitasking and prioritization skills
Proactive, eager to learn, with solid communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to have
familiarity with order management systems will be considered a plus
any additional languages would be an asset
