We are looking for an Order Entry Clerk to support daily administrative and customer-facing operations. This is a Contract position suited for someone who is comfortable handling incoming requests, entering order information accurately, and helping direct customer inquiries to the appropriate internal contacts. The ideal candidate brings strong data entry skills, solid office support experience, and a careful approach to client communication.
Job Responsibility:
Enter manufacturing-related order information into QuickBooks and create accurate sales orders in a timely manner
Review order details carefully to help maintain accuracy and reduce processing errors
Answer incoming client calls and route each inquiry to the appropriate team member or department
Assist customers who report order or service concerns by connecting them with the right internal resource
Provide day-to-day administrative support related to order processing and front-line communication
Maintain organized records and update order information as needed within business systems
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in order entry, data entry, office administration, or a related support role
Strong attention to detail, especially when processing high volumes of sales order information
Ability to type accurately and work efficiently in computer-based data entry tasks
Customer service experience with a detail-oriented and helpful phone manner
Familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred, although training can be provided
Comfortable managing multiple tasks, responding to calls, and supporting daily office operations
Nice to have:
