Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Order Entry Clerk to join our team in Florence, Kentucky. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to our operational efficiency by accurately managing and processing customer orders. Job Responsibility:

Enter, update, and maintain customer and order information in company systems with precision and attention to detail
Process and manage customer orders, including creation, tracking, and fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
Validate order details such as product specifications, pricing, quantities, and shipping instructions to ensure accuracy
Communicate with internal teams, such as sales and customer service, to address order discrepancies or issues
Collaborate with accounts receivable and billing teams to ensure accurate invoicing and payment updates
Conduct regular audits of processed data to maintain accuracy and compliance
Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status and provide prompt updates
Generate reports related to sales, order management, and inventory using company tools
Adhere to company policies concerning data security and confidentiality

Requirements:

Proven experience in data entry or order entry roles, preferably within a similar industry
Proficiency in SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Strong skills in billing functions and order management processes
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a deadline-driven environment
Solid communication skills for collaborating with teams and responding to customer inquiries
Familiarity with generating and analyzing reports related to orders and inventory
Understanding of data security and confidentiality protocols
