Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Order Entry Clerk to join our team in Newark, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient order processing, shipping documentation, and payment handling. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organizational skills and a commitment to precision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare shipping documentation in compliance with both company policies and customer requirements
verify purchase orders against shipping records to ensure accurate invoicing and order fulfillment
coordinate with the shipping team to facilitate timely packaging and delivery of products
process credit card payments securely and ensure accuracy in all transactions
enter and maintain shipping data in company systems to ensure up-to-date records
support team operations by completing additional tasks as needed to streamline workflows

Requirements:

Proficiency in data entry, including numeric and computer-based input
familiarity with shipping processes and documentation requirements
experience with Microsoft applications and related software tools
strong typing skills with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
