The Order Coordinator is responsible for the accurate coordination and maintenance of manufacturing work orders within the ERP system. This role ensures production readiness by managing engineering changes, inventory alignment, lead times, and customer delivery requirements while supporting cross‑functional communication across Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
Job Responsibility:
Create, maintain, revise, and close manufacturing work orders in the ERP system to support on‑time execution, complete transaction accuracy, and reliable status reporting
Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), ensuring timely updates to bills of material, routings, and related documentation
Maintain and update lead time data, delivery commitments, and customer-required dates within the ERP system
Analyze and resolve missing, mismatched, or incorrect electronic and physical inventory affecting work order execution
Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, and Planning teams to resolve order discrepancies or constraints
Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing or production control environment
Hands-on use of a manufacturing ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, etc.)
Working knowledge of BOMs, routings, ECOs, and inventory transactions
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and training
Strong written and verbal English language communication skills
Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, both within and outside one's own work group
