Our well-established dental practice at The Grange, Dublin 13, is dedicated to delivering high-quality Minor Oral Surgery (MOS) services. We operate on a referral-based system, providing a consistent flow of patients requiring expert surgical care in a primary care setting under local anaesthetic. We have a list of patients ready for an immediate start, making this an ideal opportunity for a Dental Surgeon with Garda vetting already in place.
Job Responsibility:
Perform minor oral surgery procedures in line with current best practices
Provide thorough patient consultations, assessments, and post-operative care
Manage a referral-based patient list, ensuring the highest standard of clinical care
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records
Adhere to strict infection control and patient safety protocols
Requirements:
IDC registration with a postgraduate qualification in Oral Surgery (or equivalent experience in MOS)
Must have experience in Tier 2 Oral Surgery and be familiar with working within referral pathways
Accredited as a Minor Oral Surgeon (or willing to apply, support available)
Proven experience in performing surgical extractions and a wide range of minor oral surgery procedures
Garda vetting in place (essential for immediate start)
Strong communication, organisational, and patient management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy, referral-based environment
Valid Indemnity Insurance
