Job Description:

Our well-established dental practice at The Grange, Dublin 13, is dedicated to delivering high-quality Minor Oral Surgery (MOS) services. We operate on a referral-based system, providing a consistent flow of patients requiring expert surgical care in a primary care setting under local anaesthetic. We have a list of patients ready for an immediate start, making this an ideal opportunity for a Dental Surgeon with Garda vetting already in place.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform minor oral surgery procedures in line with current best practices
  • Provide thorough patient consultations, assessments, and post-operative care
  • Manage a referral-based patient list, ensuring the highest standard of clinical care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records
  • Adhere to strict infection control and patient safety protocols

Requirements:

  • IDC registration with a postgraduate qualification in Oral Surgery (or equivalent experience in MOS)
  • Must have experience in Tier 2 Oral Surgery and be familiar with working within referral pathways
  • Accredited as a Minor Oral Surgeon (or willing to apply, support available)
  • Proven experience in performing surgical extractions and a wide range of minor oral surgery procedures
  • Garda vetting in place (essential for immediate start)
  • Strong communication, organisational, and patient management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy, referral-based environment
  • Valid Indemnity Insurance
