Job Description:

The Oracle WMS Functional Consultant position combines business knowledge and an understanding of the inner workings and configuration options of the Oracle Warehouse Management System. Understand and Analyze the business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions based on the Oracle EBS/Fusion Architecture that enable the organization to achieve its goals. This role will facilitate and improve communication between business and technical resources, so candidates must have the ability to coordinate, interact and work with different teams for the delivery of the solution.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with business partners and onsite IT Analysts to understand and translate requirements into Functional Specifications and Design
  • Work closely with the technical team to hand off the functional design and support in the technical design and development of the solution
  • Test the solutions and drive SIT/UAT and support deployment after go live
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert(SME) in production operations, identify the root cause of issues, recommends and implement the solution for uninterrupted production operations
  • Liaise with Oracle on the production issues and product bugs

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 4 to 6 years of working experience in Oracle Applications Suite and a very good understanding of Oracle tech stack
  • Experience in at least 2 to 3 full cycle Implementations in Oracle Warehouse Management System, experience in Designing Interface / Authoring functional design documents for Extensions/Interface/Conversion is a must
  • Minimum 1 to 2 implementation or Support project experience in Oracle Fusion Applications as Fusion WMS/Logfire Functional Consultant
  • WMS experience covering complex processes in Shipping and Receiving, including WMS strategies and rules for picking, putaway, and shipping
  • MSCA experience including requirement gathering for development, customization, and personalization of MSCA pages. Experience in Managing RF Guns
  • Strong knowledge of WMS inbound/outbound logistics, task management, and wave planning
  • Experience with interfacing applications Such as Fusion Order Management and Oracle Transportation Management system
  • Good understanding and experience in Oracle Order Management
  • Experience in working with Development and functional teams to finalize cross-functional solutions viz. teams across Manufacturing, Ordering, and WMS tracks
  • Experience in preparation of Test Scripts / BR100 and Test Execution in functional testing/system integration testing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering, Master’s in Computer Applications, or equivalent from a reputed institute

Nice to have:

  • Good understanding of Agile Development Process
  • Experience in working on Configuration Management and Incident Management
  • Good understanding of Fusion Applications and Tech Stack
  • Knowledge of Order Management and OTM is a plus
  • Hands-on experience in basic SQL and PL/SQL
  • Any certification in Warehouse Management or WMS module is preferred but Optional
