The Oracle Techno-Functional Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and customizing Oracle Financials modules in both EBS R12 and Oracle Fusion Financials. The consultant should have strong data migration experience, along with expertise in technical development and functional configurations to support business requirements. This role involves collaboration with business users, data analysis, integrations, and troubleshooting complex issues.
Job Responsibility:
Implement, configure, and customize Oracle Financials modules in both EBS R12 and Oracle Fusion Financials
Work closely with finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Oracle ERP solutions
Configure, test, and implement Oracle Financial modules, including GL, AP, AR
Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions to optimize financial processes
Provide functional support for end-users and assist in UAT, training, and documentation
Work with business users to define Chart of Accounts (COA), Multi-Currency, Ledger Setup, and Reporting requirements
Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes
Perform data migration from EBS R12 to Fusion Financials
Develop custom reports, using PL/SQL, and FBDI/ADFDI tools
Design and implement integrations between EBS, Fusion Financials, and third-party systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning for Oracle databases
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data migration, reporting, and integrations
Develop and maintain custom forms, personalization, and extensions for EBS R12
Work on Incident, Problem, and Change Management within ITIL frameworks
Requirements:
5–10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Financials, with expertise in both EBS R12 and Fusion Financials
Strong experience in GL, AP, AR
Experience in data extraction, transformation, and FBDI, ADFDI, SQL Loader, and API-based migration strategies
Expertise in PL/SQL
Hands-on experience integrating Oracle ERP with third-party applications and external financial systems
Ability to develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics in Oracle ERP using BI tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage financial system implementations
