We are looking for an Oracle Service Logistics SME to join a Contract engagement 100% remote. This role is ideal for a hands-on functional expert who can shape service logistics processes across Oracle environments while ensuring smooth coordination between service, maintenance, inventory, and customer asset workflows. The position will work closely with both business and technical stakeholders to support solution design, testing, and ongoing process alignment across integrated systems.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the functional design and delivery of Oracle Service Logistics solutions that support end-to-end service operations
Define process flows connecting service requests, field service activities, maintenance events, inventory movements, and customer asset tracking
Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective system configuration and integration requirements
Support implementation activities across the project lifecycle, including solution design, setup validation, user testing, and defect resolution
Analyze upstream and downstream system touchpoints to ensure reliable data flow between service logistics and related Oracle modules
Provide functional guidance during issue investigation and help drive timely resolution of workflow and integration challenges
Document business processes, solution decisions, and operational impacts to support project clarity and stakeholder alignment
Contribute expertise to Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud engagements involving service logistics capabilities
Collaborate with technical resources and business users to improve service logistics performance and process consistency
Requirements:
Strong hands-on functional expertise in Oracle Service Logistics, with practical knowledge gained through real-world project work
Solid understanding of how Oracle CX Service Requests, Field Service, and Maintenance interact within a broader service logistics landscape
Experience participating in at least two full lifecycle Oracle implementations focused on service-related processes
Background in Oracle E-Business Suite is required
experience with Oracle Cloud implementations is advantageous
Proven ability to design complete service logistics processes that connect inventory, service orders, customer assets, and related systems
Ability to work effectively with both functional and technical teams on configuration, testing, and issue management activities
Experience creating or contributing to business requirements documentation and supporting structured change management efforts
Familiarity with enterprise application environments and related technologies such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, NetSuite, Epicor, or ABAP is a plus
