Job Description

We are currently seeking a Oracle PPM Fixed Assets OTL Consultant to join our team in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, PAN India, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN). Job Purpose and Accountabilities: We are looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Oracle FUSION Functional Specialist within Projects and Fixed Assets, to work within our Enterprise Systems Managed Services Team. You will have business process expertise and the ability to lead and deliver application changes and delivery of new functionality to meet business requirements. You will have the ability to work independently and report back to the Senior Finance and Projects Manager. The role will be part of an existing Managed Service and delivery team based in Bradford and Reading. The ideal candidate will have proven experience specifically within: PPM – Project Portfolio Management, FA – Fixed Assets, OTL – Oracle Time & Labour. You will be involved in the exciting development and evolving team providing excellent Managed Service and change. You will also take the lead on small works deliverables, provide 2nd line support for global Oracle FUSION and EBS 12.2 platforms, as well as peripheral systems. You must be experienced in conforming to Service Level and Support Agreements, Audit, Security and Compliance standards, and maximising customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibility

  • Day to Day operation, maintenance and optimization of Oracle Applications (Cloud PPM, FA, E-Business Suite) for multiple Entities
  • Ensure system stability, support end-users, manage incident/problem resolution, Root Cause Analysis and Service Request (SR) Management
  • Release, Patch and Test Management including quarterly updates, regression testing and Change Management
  • Configuration and System Administration including configuration changes, implement small changes to existing functionality and Service Improvement activities
  • Design and implementation of Oracle FUSION Entities Small Works/Demand pipeline items for Oracle FUSION and EBS PA, FA
  • Prepare PPM, FA Functional design specifications and testing cycles
  • Prepare solution design and functional specification documentation
  • Maintain and update Configuration Documentation
  • Applies best practice support methodology, technical and business-process expertise, and customer service skills to resolve them, within SLA and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Impact assess change requests and provide estimates for new requirements
  • Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements if needed
  • Ability to work largely independently and proactively on a fast paced and busy workload
  • Share Oracle knowledge within the team, supporting colleagues as needed

Requirements

  • University degree educated or similar
  • Oracle Certified PPM Cloud Implementation Specialist
  • Oracle Certified FA Implementation Specialist
  • Extensive proven experience working on Oracle PPM, FA in Oracle FUSION ideally within a Managed Service/Delivery team
  • Extensive proven experience working on Oracle PA, FA in Oracle EBS (12.2+) ideally within a Managed Service/Delivery team
  • Considerable experience in contributing to the design and implementation of Oracle PPM, FA in Multi-Org, Multi-Currency Instances, Oracle Fusion and EBS PA, FA configuration changes, PPM, FA functional design specifications and testing cycles - Minimum 2 end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion PPM at a client location
  • Competent UK/US FRS and IFRS
  • Strong conceptual knowledge in P2P, R2R, O2C and A2R cycle including GL
  • Experience across a wide range of Oracle EBS R12 Applications and technologies including: knowledge of Oracle schemas and public APIs, a good understanding of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, and reporting tools (e.g. OTBI, OBIEE, Business Objects)
  • An understanding of Oracle AIM methodology
  • Experience working on Agile and/or Waterfall based projects
  • Strong problem analysis skills with the ability to think creatively about possible problem solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills, recognizing benefits of working within a busy team environment
