Job Description:

The role of Oracle NetSuite Senior Developer is in charge of driving end-to-end the process of transforming the business requirements received from the business analysis team into actual code and custom scripts, integrations, React, workflows, followed by QA/testing, SuiteQL, UAT, bug fixing, deployment and stabilization on our Oracle NetSuite instances.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and maintain customizations, scripts, React , workflows, and integrations within the Oracle NetSuite platform
  • Work hand in hand with the business analysis team to review draft specs and provide reality checks in terms of feasibility, timing and complexity
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues related to NetSuite applications and integrations which the Operations team could not resolve on their own
  • Develop and maintain documentation for customizations, processes, and procedures
  • Stay up to date with NetSuite updates, new features, and best practices
  • Track and report project progress to appropriate parties using NetSuite and Jira. Report on a regular basis to the management the progress and priority of open requests
  • Mentor less experienced developers and supervise external developers
  • Conduct analyses to maximize effectiveness and identify potential problems
  • Assist with the go-live and with the finished product being turned over from Dev to Ops to ensure proper background and documentation are provided to ensure ongoing support can be provided to end users
  • Prioritize tickets in queue based on high impact clients, including High Touch User, Focus User, Legal obligation, and Revenue Impacting
  • Understand integration points with related Products and where failure points could appear
  • Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects, providing technical expertise and context/concerns thanks to your deep technical expertise

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English
  • 3-4 years of experience as a NetSuite Developer across its multiple ERP and CRM modules
  • Proficiency in SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0 (inc. Suitelets), SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SuiteBundler
  • NetSuite SuiteCloud Development/Design/Testing/Code Review experience, including 3rd party Integration
  • Sound knowledge of the React (also known as React.js) framework and its usage within Oracle NetSuite
  • Sound knowledge of front-end languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies
  • Proficiency in error resolution, error handling, and debugging
  • Experience with IDEs (e.g. WebStorm), source control systems (e.g. GIT), unit-testing tools, and defect management tools
  • Experience with XML/XSL and Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, REST, JSON)
  • Experience developing web applications using JSP/Servlets, DHTML, and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of system architecture, object-oriented design, web frameworks and patterns
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology knowledge and use, in particular waterfall, kanban and SCRUM
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to find elegant solutions to complex problems
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams spanning multiple locations, languages and cultures
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or a related STEM field
