Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced, self-starting Oracle Fusion Finance Test Consultant to join a critical UK-based implementation team. This contract focuses on delivering robust end-to-end testing, ensuring complete traceability, and supporting business users through crucial UAT phases up to project completion.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute end-to-end test script creation, execution, defect logging, and tracking to resolution using Jira and Xray
  • Ensure full, meticulous linking of test cases to business requirements within the test management toolset
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the System Integrator (SI), third-party vendors, and internal business resources to test complex E2E integrations and interfaces
  • Provide expert guidance to Business Analysts and end-users during UAT execution—triaging queries, managing defect lifecycles, and ensuring smooth testing progress
  • Provide technical inputs into daily progress reports, proactively highlighting risks, issues, or blockers, and actively participating in defect triage sessions
  • Provide specialized support to the Test Lead across all E2E, UAT, and Non-Functional Testing (NFT) workstreams as required by the project schedule

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional testing experience, with a dedicated 5–7 years specifically focused on Oracle Fusion / ERP Finance implementations
  • Deep, comprehensive understanding of all core Oracle Finance process areas (e.g., AP, AR, GL, FA, CM)
  • Highly proficient in utilizing Jira and advanced Test Management plug-ins (ideally Xray) for execution and requirement mapping
  • Proven ability to operate under your own initiative, managing your workload and deliverables with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical SI vendors and non-technical business users
