Oracle Fusion Finance & Payroll Lead Contract | £944/day Inside IR35 | Staffordshire / Hybrid We’re supporting a secure public sector organisation delivering a major Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP transformation and are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance & Payroll Lead to provide functional leadership across the Finance and Payroll workstream. This role will suit a senior Oracle functional specialist who combines strong hands-on configuration expertise with the credibility to lead design decisions, challenge implementation partners and shape delivery within a highly regulated environment. You’ll act as the critical bridge between technical consultants and operational business stakeholders to ensure the solution meets organisational, statutory and operational requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading the Finance & Payroll functional workstream for an Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation
  • Providing functional leadership across modules including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable / Receivable, Fixed Assets, Projects, Cash Management, Payroll, Integrations and financial controls
  • Leading To-Be design workshops and supporting solution design
  • Working closely with implementation partners on configuration, integrations and delivery
  • Supporting data migration, reporting, testing and go-live readiness
  • Challenging supplier approach where required to ensure best outcomes
  • Driving an "Adopt Not Adapt" approach to ERP transformation

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering multiple full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance & Payroll implementations
  • Strong hands-on Oracle Fusion configuration experience
  • Deep understanding of Finance and Payroll modules, financial controls, workflows and integrations
  • Experience designing Chart of Accounts, reporting structures and governance controls
  • Strong understanding of UK statutory finance, payroll, VAT and audit requirements
  • Proven ability to lead functional delivery independently and challenge implementation partners constructively
  • Experience in secure government, policing or highly regulated environments desirable
  • CCAB / CIMA / ACCA qualification essential
