Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Oracle Fusion Business Analyst with expertise in financial modules to join our team on a long-term contract. This position is based in Oak Brook, Illinois, and offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with both technical teams and finance stakeholders. The role requires a strong blend of analytical skills and technical proficiency to support and improve Oracle Fusion Financials processes and systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyze incidents and enhancement requests within Oracle Fusion Financials modules, identifying root causes and proposing effective solutions
  • Collaborate with finance and technical teams to gather and document comprehensive business and technical requirements
  • Translate complex requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with system capabilities and business needs
  • Participate in solution design, configuration, testing, and debugging for Oracle Fusion Financials modules
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, including technical diagrams and post-implementation support plans
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion Financials, advising on configurations, workflows, security roles, and reporting
  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of support tickets, identifying patterns and opportunities for system enhancements
  • Work closely with development teams to implement automation and process improvements for financial systems
  • Ensure compliance with change management and testing best practices throughout project lifecycles

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a functional or technical analyst supporting Oracle Fusion Financials
  • Proficiency in Oracle Financials modules such as AP, GL, FA, Cash Management, Project Accounting, and Reporting
  • Strong understanding of data structures, integrations, and validation processes
  • Hands-on experience with API development and configuration management
  • Familiarity with IT change management methodologies and testing protocols
  • Ability to create detailed technical documentation and diagrams
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts
  • Experience with automation and process improvement within financial systems
