We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fast Formula Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and enhancing existing client-specific formulas within Oracle Cloud applications. This position requires a strong background in developing Fast Formulas from scratch and a deep understanding of U.S. payroll and billing processes, including multi-state pay rules and calculations.
Job Responsibility
Analyze, troubleshoot, and modify existing Oracle Fast Formulas to ensure they meet business requirements
Develop new Fast Formulas when gaps or additional needs are identified during the implementation process
Provide expert support for formulas related to HR, Time & Labor, Payroll, Absence, Benefits, and Compensation modules
Map existing formulas to business requirements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and implement multi-state payroll rules and billing calculations
Create and maintain technical documentation, including technical design documents (TDDs) and migration plans
Utilize Oracle tools such as Value Sets, User-Defined Tables (UDTs), and Lookups to enhance formula functionality
Conduct analytics reporting using Oracle tools to support business decisions
Work independently to interpret and manage inherited formulas with minimal guidance
Ensure availability during Eastern Time business hours to provide timely support
Requirements
At least 7 years of experience in technical or functional Oracle Cloud roles
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing Oracle Fast Formulas across various modules
Proven expertise in U.S. payroll implementations, with at least two full implementations completed
Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll rules, billing calculations, and business logic
Proficiency in working with Oracle tools such as Value Sets, UDTs, and Lookups
Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve formula-related issues
Availability to work during Eastern Time business hours
