Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fast Formula Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and enhancing existing client-specific formulas within Oracle Cloud applications. This position requires a strong background in developing Fast Formulas from scratch and a deep understanding of U.S. payroll and billing processes, including multi-state pay rules and calculations.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and modify existing Oracle Fast Formulas to ensure they meet business requirements
  • Develop new Fast Formulas when gaps or additional needs are identified during the implementation process
  • Provide expert support for formulas related to HR, Time & Labor, Payroll, Absence, Benefits, and Compensation modules
  • Map existing formulas to business requirements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and implement multi-state payroll rules and billing calculations
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including technical design documents (TDDs) and migration plans
  • Utilize Oracle tools such as Value Sets, User-Defined Tables (UDTs), and Lookups to enhance formula functionality
  • Conduct analytics reporting using Oracle tools to support business decisions
  • Work independently to interpret and manage inherited formulas with minimal guidance
  • Ensure availability during Eastern Time business hours to provide timely support

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in technical or functional Oracle Cloud roles
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing Oracle Fast Formulas across various modules
  • Proven expertise in U.S. payroll implementations, with at least two full implementations completed
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll rules, billing calculations, and business logic
  • Proficiency in working with Oracle tools such as Value Sets, UDTs, and Lookups
  • Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve formula-related issues
  • Availability to work during Eastern Time business hours
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
