We are currently seeking a Oracle EBS Supply Chain Functional SME - Onsite to join our team in Buffalo, New York (US-NY), United States (US).

Job Responsibility

  • Managing the day-to--day activities of an offshore development and functional team
  • Task allocation, quality assurance of offshore deliverables, and ensuring 24/7 support coverage
  • Provide expert-level configuration and solution design for Inventory, Order Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, WIP, BoM, Engineering, and MRP
  • Lead daily stand-ups and hand-off meetings to ensure seamless communication across time zones
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications (MD50s) for the offshore technical team
  • Navigate the challenges of production support and global rollouts, including localization requirements and root cause analysis for high-priority incidents

Requirements

  • 8+ years of deep functional experience in Oracle EBS R12
  • Proven track record working in an Onsite/Offshore model, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity coordinating with remote teams
  • Hands-on mastery of INV, OM, PO, WIP, BoM, ENG, and MRP, at least 8 years
  • Must have led at least two full-lifecycle implementations and handled complex production support environments
  • Exceptional soft skills to manage client expectations onsite while providing technical and functional mentorship to the offshore team
  • Ability to use Oracle Support (My Oracle Support) to manage SRs and utilize SQL for data validation and troubleshooting
  • Oversee the design and validation of custom operational reports (XML/BI Publisher) for manufacturing and supply chain tracking, at least 8+ years
  • Design and manage inbound/outbound interfaces between Oracle EBS and 3rd party logistics (3PL) or legacy systems, at least 8+ years
  • Lead data migration strategy (using CV40/CV60) for master data like Items, BoMs, and open transactions during rollouts, at least 8+ years
  • Define functional logic for custom forms or PL/SQL-based extensions to meet unique manufacturing shop-floor requirements, at least 8+ years
  • Manage and troubleshoot custom Approval Management Engine (AME) setups and workflow notifications for PO and OM modules, at least 8+ years
