Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to manage and optimize our enterprise database infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle database administration, complemented by working knowledge of IBM DB2, MongoDB, and Sybase to support our heterogeneous database environment. This role requires strong technical skills, performance tuning expertise, and a proactive approach to database management.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience in enterprise production environments
  • 2+ years of experience with at least two of: DB2, MongoDB, Sybase
  • Experience managing mission-critical databases supporting 24/7 operations
  • Experience with database migrations and consolidation projects
  • Expert-level Oracle Database skills (versions 11g, 12c, 19c, 21c)
  • High Availability: RAC, Data Guard, Active Data Guard, GoldenGate
  • Backup & Recovery: RMAN (expert), Flashback technologies, PITR, Incremental backups
  • Performance Tuning: AWR, ADDM, ASH, SQL Tuning Advisor, SQL Plan Management, Execution Plans
  • PL/SQL: Advanced PL/SQL programming, stored procedures, packages, triggers
  • Architecture: Multitenant (CDB/PDB), ASM, Grid Infrastructure, Oracle Net Services
  • Security: TDE, Database Vault, Label Security, Advanced Security, Audit Vault
  • Partitioning: Range, List, Hash, Composite partitioning strategies
  • Enterprise Manager: OEM Cloud Control 13c, monitoring, patching, provisioning
  • Exadata: Experience with Oracle Exadata Database Machine (preferred)
  • Cloud: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Autonomous Database (preferred)
  • Intermediate-level IBM DB2 skills (v10.5, v11.x)
  • Working knowledge of MongoDB (4.x, 5.x, 6.x, 7.x)
  • Basic-level Sybase ASE skills (15.x, 16.x)
