Oracle Database Administrator (Digital Marketing sphere) - The Data Operations Team's primary responsibility is to build, support and maintain the data pipelines database infrastructure and maintain efficient data stores. They work on improving reliability, scalability and efficiency of databases, data pipelines and data stores by engineering solutions that hosts the large amount of data the team uses as well as monitor, alert and auto-remediate issues that rises.
Job Responsibility:
Perform database and system patching
Ensure regular system maintenance and operational stability
Install and configure new machines
Maintain and support database clusters, ensuring high availability and performance
Requirements:
Strong expertise in Oracle RAC
5+ years of experience in Oracle RAC and MySQL database administration
Solid experience with RAC/Data Guard maintenance, database installation and upgrades, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security management
Hands-on experience with Linux systems
Good understanding of system administration principles
Experience with other databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Ruby
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
