Job Responsibility:

Installing and maintaining the Oracle database software
Creating storage database structures with high-level security features
Altering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the company
Setting up database user accounts
Training users on how to access the information in the database
Finding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrity
Creating autonomous database backups
Configuration of the Oracle wallet
Performed RMAN Active cloning
Managing Tablespace and performed datafile activities
Managing Control files, Data files, Redo log files and Archive log files
Configuration & Implementation of Data Guard
Worked on Data Pump export & import for Database refresh, Schema refresh as per client needed
Converting standby database into SNAPSHOT standby as per the application requirement
Co-ordinated with Oracle Corporation for technical issue resolution through SR
Troubleshooting archive log transport failures for standby database
Regularly updating the database security protocols

Requirements:

10+ Yrs experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related degree
