Job Description

Oracle Commerce Cloud developer will design, develop, and implement robust B2B and B2C ecommerce solutions to support our Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) implementations. The ideal candidate uses structured analysis and design methodologies to perform full life cycle development for Client applications ranging in complexity.

Job Responsibility

  • Provides technical support to Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) platform and its integrations
  • Performs design, development, testing, code review and post-production support activities for applications based upon the specific needs of the projects
  • Supports technical design, development and implementation of enhancements and integrations of Oracle Commerce Cloud platform
  • Designs and develops storefront, mapping, catalogs, and widgets for OCC
  • Creates integrations using module related APIs, web services to/from OCC
  • Performs data integration from external systems (REST APIs, JSON scripts knowledge) into I for finished good product and product catalog load, pricing, and spreadsheet loads
  • Collaborates with team to provide technical solutions to support long-term technology strategy
  • Performs technical analysis for the requirements and provides detailed technical documentation of the desired system changes
  • Reviews and develops application customizations, extensions, and modifications of existing systems to maintain inter-dependency of the functionality
  • Tracks, troubleshoots, and repairs the OCC issues
  • Provides production support, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance for custom programs
  • Coordinates work efforts with Client’s data base application team for changes and system issues
  • Proactively work through service requests with Oracle support as needed

Requirements

  • Oracle Commerce (ATG/ Endeca) and Commerce Cloud experience in development system, system configuration, testing and documentation of Commerce solutions for both web and mobile
  • Experience in Java and UI development (such as: Java/ J2EE, Java Script framework (Knockout, react, Angular), Bootstrap, jQuery, node.js, HTML/ CSS, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3)
  • Experience with system–to–system integrations and interfacing with Oracle EBS and Integration Platforms (BOOMI, MuleSoft, oracle ICS)
  • Experience with Web services, such as (SOAP/REST/XML/JSON), jQuery, HTML, CSS
  • Experience in Oracle database 12c or higher with SQL and/or PL/SQL
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
