Job Description

The Oracle Apps DBA role requires approximately 2 years of experience with Oracle Apps DBA (R12.2). Candidates should have strong skills in Linux/UNIX shell scripting, RMAN, Data Guard, and ASM. Job Responsibility

  • 24/7 production support, incident resolution, and monitoring using OEM
  • Monitoring database usage, space utilization, user sessions, locks, and tuning SQL queries
  • Performing and monitoring RMAN backups and database recovery
  • Managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting concurrent managers
  • Providing 24/7 technical support, troubleshooting user login issues, and resolving application/DB bottlenecks
  • Managing user accounts, security, and profile options
  • Performing Apps/DB refreshes (multi-node to single-node, etc.)

Requirements

  • Approximately 2 years working with Oracle Apps DBA role (R12.2)
  • Experience with Linux/UNIX shell scripting, RMAN, Data Guard, and ASM
