Job Description

We are seeking an Oracle APEX Developer to work closely with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable, secure, and high-quality technical solutions. This role plays a key part in supporting business-as-usual operations, resolving production issues, and contributing to continuous improvement through collaboration, code quality, and knowledge sharing.

Job Responsibility

  • Understand functional requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical designs
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Oracle APEX, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL
  • Support BAU activities including bug fixes, production incident resolution, and application stability
  • Participate in peer code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and maintainability of solutions
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and maintain clear, up-to-date technical documentation

Requirements

  • Experienced in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development
  • Proficient in building and maintaining applications using Oracle APEX
  • Comfortable working with JavaScript to enhance user experience and functionality
  • Familiar with DevOps tooling and modern development practices (good to have)
  • Knowledgeable in performance tuning, query optimisation, and troubleshooting (good to have)
  • Exposure to REST and SOAP web services integration (good to have)
  • A collaborative team member who communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
