We have comprehensive experience providing IT support services, including hardware and software support, maintenance and repair, programming, professional staffing, networking, web design and development, and helpdesk implementation and management. We are seeking a Oracle and SQL Server Database Administrator to help us in Los Angeles, CA 90017. Remote initially, transitioning to on-site (Pomona or Downtown Los Angeles) Monday – Friday, First shift 3-6 months contract Pay rate depends on experience Start ASAP

Job Responsibility:

  • Support change management including maintenance across multiple environments and deploying approved patches
  • Support security/SOX Audit Reporting and provide input and recommendations
  • Provide production and operational support, and on call duties
  • Creating users, tablespaces, logs
  • Performance tuning
  • Upgrades, Capacity management, Auto Config
  • Disaster Recovery, Backup and Cloning, Security
  • Technical Patch Management. Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle ADI, XML, and Publisher and Workflow
  • Hands on experience with AD Utilities: ADOP, Adadmin, Adpatch, Adconfig, adctrl, Adsplice & Adrelink
  • Single Sign-On implementation of Oracle eBusiness Suite
  • Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions
  • Research required data
  • Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
  • Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
  • Suggest new queries for continuous systems improvements

Requirements:

  • Senior Oracle Apps DBA with 10 plus years of IT industry experience with strong emphasis in Oracle database as well as the ability to function as a SQL Server DBA
  • Must have extensive DBA experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite Version 12.2 and above
