Job Description:

ACES is an independent provider of NHS eye care outpatient and surgical services delivered in the community. The role involves working with state-of-the-art technologies to support the NHS and provide patients with the highest standards of clinical care in services including Cataract, YAG Laser Treatment, Glaucoma, Oculoplastics, and General Ophthalmology.

Job Responsibility:

Undertaking pre and post-operative consultations for cataract surgery patients
Overseeing glaucoma care as part of a virtual ophthalmology led service
Providing clinical support to ophthalmologists in general and oculoplastic clinics

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
Keen to undertake higher qualifications in glaucoma
Passionate about delivering excellent patient care
Articulate, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident and organised
Happy to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Nice to have:

Previous experience in an ophthalmology clinic setting
Higher level qualifications
