Job Description:

A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a leading private provider of laser eye, premium intraocular lens and cataract surgery. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside experienced eye care professionals, including ophthalmologists, and play a crucial role in the delivery of a diverse range of clinical eye care services to the company's patients. With a “put the patient first” mentality and a transcending care for their employee’s career paths, this a great opportunity to continue your growth as an Optometrist. This role is ideal for an Optometrist with 1-2 years post-registration experience who is eager to expand their clinical skillset. Full specialist training will be provided, including refractive, cataract, and glaucoma pathways. You'll be working in a modern clinic environment with state of the art technology, where patient care is paramount and continuous professional development is encouraged.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing essential and advanced eye examinations
  • Supporting ophthalmologists with clinical assessments
  • Conducting pre- and post-operative consultations for cataract and refractive procedures
  • Offer clinical advice regarding eye health, vision correction and preventative care

Requirements:

  • GOC Registered
  • Minimum 1 years UK post-registration experience
  • BSc in Optometry
  • Strong clinical decision-making and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team

Nice to have:

Prior experience in a private or clinical setting is a plus
