Job Responsibility

Conduct comprehensive eye exams to evaluate vision and detect eye diseases
Diagnose and manage ocular conditions like glaucoma and cataracts
Prescribe corrective lenses tailored to individual patient needs
Educate patients on eye health, vision correction, and preventive care
Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
Maintain accurate patient records including interactions and treatment plans

Requirements

Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution
Valid state optometry license
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient and staff interaction
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills for accurate diagnosis and treatment
Compassionate care approach and ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
