Join Our Team at Boots! Contract: Permanent. Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Sunday. Location: Rushden Lakes. Join our modern retail park store, a spacious and soon to be newly developed practice located in a vibrant shopping and leisure destination. Supported by a friendly and experienced team, including resident Optometrists, Clinical Leads and Dispensing Opticians, you'll work in a well-equipped environment featuring OCT technology, with Optomap soon to be installed as part of an exciting store refresh. Offering a wide range of premium eyewear brands, hearing care services and the latest optical innovations, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team in a busy, customer-focused location with excellent facilities and strong development opportunities.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading clinics and delivering outstanding patient care
  • Using the latest testing technology to assess eye health and provide expert advice
  • Providing enhanced services, from triage support to advanced assessments, depending on store needs
  • Offering clinical support to colleagues on the shop floor
  • Collaborating with external healthcare professionals
  • Keeping your clinical knowledge up to date and sharing it with others
  • Playing a key role in your store’s leadership team, bringing energy and insight to every shift

Requirements

  • GOC registered (or expecting to be within 6 months)
  • NHS performer number (or working towards it)
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • A genuine interest in patient care and team collaboration

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting enhanced services
  • A strong understanding of local clinical networks
