Work alongside supportive staff in a well-equipped clinic, with a flexible schedule allowing for full-time or a 1-week on/1-week off rotation.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assess vision
  • Diagnose and manage ocular diseases like glaucoma and cataracts
  • Prescribe corrective lenses based on patient needs
  • Educate patients about eye health, vision correction, and preventive care
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for eye surgery patients
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans

Requirements

  • Education: Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school
  • Licensure: Valid state license to practice optometry
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to Detail: Strong skills in diagnosis and treatment of vision problems
  • Customer Service: Ability to provide compassionate care to diverse age groups
