Job Responsibility:
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assess vision
Diagnose and manage ocular diseases like glaucoma and cataracts
Prescribe corrective lenses based on patient needs
Educate patients about eye health, vision correction, and preventive care
Provide pre- and post-operative care for eye surgery patients
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
Requirements:
Education: Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry school
Licensure: Valid state license to practice optometry
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to Detail: Strong skills in diagnosis and treatment of vision problems
