Job Description:

A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a leading private provider of laser eye, premium intraocular lens and cataract surgery. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside experienced eye care professionals, including ophthalmologists, and play a crucial role in the delivery of a diverse range of clinical eye care services to the company's patients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing essential and advanced eye examinations
  • Supporting ophthalmologists with clinical assessments
  • Being part of our multi-disciplinary YAG capsulotomy service, delivering these procedures
  • Conducting pre- and post-operative consultations for cataract and refractive procedures
  • Offer clinical advice regarding eye health, vision correction and preventative care
  • Cover the Torquay clinic occasionally

Requirements:

  • GOC Registered
  • BSc in Optometry
  • Strong clinical decision-making and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Prior experience in a private or clinical setting is a plus
