As an Optimization Specialist Intern at our Budapest office- 60% position, you’ll play a key role in maximizing the performance of Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) campaigns for global advertisers. You’ll work hands-on with data to monitor, analyze, and optimize campaigns, ensuring they deliver strong results and actionable insights. This role blends analytical depth and technical skills with creative problem-solving, giving you exposure to real-world performance marketing at scale. It’s an opportunity to grow your technical and analytical skills in a fast-moving, data-driven environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Monitor day-to-day performance of DCO (Dynamic Creative Optimization) campaigns, ensuring they meet or exceed target KPIs
  • Manage budget pacing, spending boosts and budget depletion to maximize efficiency and results
  • Perform optimization across key dimensions including sites, devices, creatives, bids and audience segments
  • Set up, monitor and evaluate advertiser-specific A/B tests — from hypothesis through execution to analysis
  • Create regular reports for clients and internal stakeholders detailing performance trends, insights and recommendations
  • Analyze campaign performance and prepare insights and presentations for internal business meetings, identifying issues and recommending actionable improvements

Requirements:

  • B.Sc in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field
  • available ~3 days/week during internship
  • Strong SQL and Excel skills, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data manipulation
  • Solid grasp of statistical and mathematical concepts to interpret metrics and make data-driven decisions
  • Analytical, logical thinker with a problem-solving mindset- proactive in identifying and resolving issues
  • Independent and reliable, able to manage time, own tasks end-to-end, and deliver high-quality results
