Job Responsibility
Fabricating and integrating a range of optical and non-optical components
Setting up and using advanced optical testing equipment to measure components and interpreting data with high accuracy
Designing and manufacturing custom tools required for the production process
Assisting in the assembly and alignment of intricate opto-mechanical systems
Reviewing project specifications and drawings to ensure all work meets exacting standards
Requirements
You possess a high level of practical skill of hand and enjoy problem-solving in a workshop environment
You have a demonstrated desire to learn and a collaborative working style
You are comfortable working in a workshop setting and able to carry items weighing up to 20 kg
Several years in a mechanical or precision manufacturing environment is highly desirable
