The Optical Advisor's role is to make our patients feel comfortable and relaxed whilst providing a 5-star service. Our Optical Advisor's should enjoy meeting new people and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with both patients and ophthalmic professionals alike.
Job Responsibility:
Building relationships with patients and ensuring regular communication prior to and following their treatment
Assisting in patient consultations / practice visits
Undertaking diagnostic scans on patients using state of the art equipment as part of a full health check
Assisting patients to complete health & lifestyle questionnaires
Introducing patients to their optometrist
Scheduling treatment dates for vision correction surgery
Advising on traditional vision correction solutions, namely glasses and contact lenses
Discussing finance options
Accurately maintaining patient records
Requirements:
Driven and passionate with a willingness to succeed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong negotiation skills
Self-motivated to work with and without supervision
Previous experience working towards sales targets and personal KPI's
Strong organisational skills
Commercially aware whilst providing world-class customer service
