Yes, you will be doing a lot of the usual stuff you’d expect from a warehouse role, like keeping the stock system up to date and checking goods in and out, but you’ll do so much more besides this. We’re looking for people who can follow procedures with accuracy and care, but who also have a passion and flare for tech. If you join Parkingeye as an Operations Hub Assistant, no day will be the same – we promise you. You may be configuring kit and equipment one minute, diagnosing faults in returned parts the next or simply acing the day-to-day tasks that keep our car park installations and maintenance moving. This role offers self-paced progression that can take you from Assistant right up to Specialist if that’s where you want to go, with Specialists playing their part in helping us build tech such as EV chargers. You’ll work as part of a committed and enthusiastic team who value teamwork and hard work, so if you have an eye for detail and can be proactive when it comes to solving problems, then this is the role for you.
Job Responsibility:
Configure and assemble network cabinets
Work in sequence with colleagues to speed up assembly and configuration
Stock control – receipt, booking in and location of incoming goods at our Operations Hub
Stock accuracy checks
Processing old stock returned by our engineers
Dispatching stock as needed
Using our Parkingeye Stock Management System
Adhere to all site Health and Safety requirements and Safe Systems of Work
Requirements:
Desire to learn new skills and technology
Experience in warehouse processes and operations
Experience of using Stock Management Systems
A proactive approach and a proven ability to solve problems
Ability to work independently on your own tasks as well as part of a team
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Experience using Microsoft Office applications (or similar) such as Outlook, Excel and Teams
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operation Systems (XP/7&8)
