Job Responsibility
Review deal structure, pricing & costing for Custom Solution pricing
Partner with Sales & Pursuit team in deal shaping, and perform pricing simulations for customers
Evaluate assumptions and analyze opportunities against New Revenue Standard to form pricing strategy
Assess and quantify financial risks, propose options to mitigate financial risks
Assess and present Pan HPE P&L for HPE GreenLake Flex Solution deal approval
Provide finance opinion of the pricing assessment and financial risk and present to Management for approval
Financial advisor for presales / sales /account team/business
Consult and provide required documentation to the Deal Governance process
Establish positive working relationships with the Pursuit and other functional teams, to get the best understanding of the existing cost structure possible
Work with Compliance, Tax & revenue recognition team to address risks in solutions and propose mitigation options
Requirements
First level university degree with a focus in business or economics
Advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
Typically 6+ years of experience as a financial analyst/pricing/financial modelling
Typically experienced in more than one finance function
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis, with advanced knowledge in one area
