Job Description:

Lamontagne operators are industrial chocolatiers. They whip up our best chocolate recipes every day and keep our moulding, coating, bagging, and packaging machines running smoothly. Operators ensure the quality and conformity of the chocolates we make while also making sure that production targets are met.

Job Responsibility:

Whip up chocolate recipes
Keep moulding, coating, bagging, and packaging machines running smoothly
Ensure quality and conformity of chocolates
Ensure production targets are met
Keep work environment and equipment clean
Enter data into software programs like Fidelio and Paperless
Inspect machines
Fill out quality log
Set up machine and equipment
Prepare packaging and codes
Request raw materials
Inform shift members about products and codes
Check quality of chocolates before and after packaging
Responsible for food safety
Ensure work area is clean and tidy
Count packages and finished products for inventory
Sign off on product traceability paperwork

Requirements:

Be a team player
Be alert, resourceful, and independent
Be able to do physical work and be on your feet
Be mechanically inclined and tech-savvy

What we offer:

$2/hour premium pay for evening shift
