Your Team Cleveland’s technology and automation is innovative. It is the U.S. sole source for plastic pour bottles, glass IV, and various reconstitution devices. This facility produces a number of major product lines with a diverse array of automated manufacturing technologies ranging from bottle solution filling, injection molding, tubing extrusion, and device assembly. Job Responsibility
Must perform functions for the production of Plastic Pour Bottle Blow Molding (Sidel).
Must operate Haumiller Gasket Machine and inspect bottle and gasket assembly.
Responsible for start-up and readiness of machine and support equipment prior to production.
Responsible for monitoring equipment and performing minor adjustments during production.
Must be able to troubleshoot minor mechanical and electrical problems on equipment.
Must be able to perform all duties associated with the operation.
Understand and ensure all SOPs, GMPs and safety regulations are followed.
Perform and document line clearances.
Must verify correctness of material.
Must perform general housekeeping duties.
Must complete production documentation associated with the operation and review batch documentation for correctness/completion.
Communicate effectively with department employees, management, engineering, and maintenance.
Must train as back-up Production Technician
Perform relief duties for other personnel when required, including Production Technician.
Requirements
High school diploma required. Additional technical experience, training, or education a plus.
Ability to read, write, count, use calculator and maintenance tools.
Prior machine operating experience preferred
Minor troubleshooting ability preferred.
Basic computer skills required.
Must be able to operate a forklift and/or be trained to do so.
Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Audiometric testing and hearing protection required.
Ability to climb ladders
Ability to bend/stoop
Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Notify the supervisor and take appropriate action if any safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur.
Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.
In a Class I Controlled Environment which includes the following dress/gowning requirements: safety glasses, safety shoes, ear plugs, jumpsuit, hood, hairnet, beard cover, gloves, isolation mask and boots (additional PPE required when cleaning).
Constant or intermittent exposure to elevated levels of noise.
Involves working around equipment, machinery and belts.
Requires occasionally working with chemical cleaners and disinfectants.
