Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Operator in Final Assembly, you will perform routine assemblies, inspections, packing/shipping and/or sub-assemblies using basic tools and assembly techniques while working to pre-assigned levels of output!

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform basic visual and/or physical in-process testing to ensure high quality standards are met
  • rotate among stations within work center/department and may be assigned to more complex tasks
  • work from blueprints, diagrams, and process sheets to determine set-up procedures, equipment and materials needed, assembly process, safety precautions, cycle time and related requirements
  • work with basic chemicals in performing assembly detail as well as use simple machinery to prepare component parts for further assembly
  • assist higher-level Assemblers in more complicated assemblies or final production
  • diagnose faulty operations, product imperfections, and/or equipment malfunctions
  • maintain accurate inventory count of completed work as well as monitoring work and insuring requirements are being met regarding schedule, quality and quantity
  • package component parts or assemblies for shipment

Requirements:

  • Good mechanical dexterity/eyesight
  • ability to read, write and use basic math
  • maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing repetitive tasks
  • adapt to a changing work environment
  • work well with others and actively participate in team problem-solving activities
  • be able to lift 40lbs and work in various positions: standing, sitting, and working on repetitive jobs/assemblies
  • high school diploma or equivalency
