As a Manufacturing Operator in Final Assembly, you will perform routine assemblies, inspections, packing/shipping and/or sub-assemblies using basic tools and assembly techniques while working to pre-assigned levels of output!
Job Responsibility:
Perform basic visual and/or physical in-process testing to ensure high quality standards are met
rotate among stations within work center/department and may be assigned to more complex tasks
work from blueprints, diagrams, and process sheets to determine set-up procedures, equipment and materials needed, assembly process, safety precautions, cycle time and related requirements
work with basic chemicals in performing assembly detail as well as use simple machinery to prepare component parts for further assembly
assist higher-level Assemblers in more complicated assemblies or final production
maintain accurate inventory count of completed work as well as monitoring work and insuring requirements are being met regarding schedule, quality and quantity
package component parts or assemblies for shipment
Requirements:
Good mechanical dexterity/eyesight
ability to read, write and use basic math
maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing repetitive tasks
adapt to a changing work environment
work well with others and actively participate in team problem-solving activities
be able to lift 40lbs and work in various positions: standing, sitting, and working on repetitive jobs/assemblies
high school diploma or equivalency
Nice to have:
1 year (minimum) of successful experience in assembly/related functional area
