Job Responsibility

Perform basic visual and/or physical in-process testing to ensure high quality standards are met
have the opportunity to rotate among stations within work center/department and may be assigned to more complex tasks
work from blueprints, diagrams, and process sheets to determine set-up procedures, equipment and materials needed, assembly process, safety precautions, cycle time and related requirements
work with basic chemicals in performing assembly detail as well as use simple machinery to prepare component parts for further assembly
work with a diverse group of people and assist higher-level Assemblers in more complicated assemblies or final production
diagnose faulty operations, product imperfections, and/or equipment malfunctions and work with technical and supervisory personnel to resolve discrepancies
maintain accurate inventory count of completed work and monitor work and insure requirements are being met with regard to schedule, quality and quantity
package component parts or assemblies for shipment
