Job Responsibility

  • Perform basic visual and/or physical in-process testing to ensure high quality standards are met
  • have the opportunity to rotate among stations within work center/department and may be assigned to more complex tasks
  • work from blueprints, diagrams, and process sheets
  • may work with basic chemicals in performing assembly detail as well as use simple machinery to prepare component parts for further assembly
  • work with a diverse group of people
  • assist higher-level Assemblers in more complicated assemblies or final production
  • diagnose faulty operations, product imperfections, and/or equipment malfunctions
  • maintain accurate inventory count of completed work
  • monitor work and insure requirements are being met with regard to schedule, quality and quantity
  • package component parts or assemblies for shipment

  • A high school diploma or equivalency
  • 1 year (minimum) of successful experience in assembly/related functional area is preferred
  • good mechanical dexterity/eyesight
  • ability to read, write and use basic math
  • maintain a high degree of accuracy in performing repetitive tasks
  • able to adapt to a changing work environment
