Job Description:

Operating and maintaining inkjet web digital printing production equipment. Combining technical skills with attention to detail to meet customer requirements operating a Ricoh VC60000/VC70000 or similar inkjet continuous web printer.

Job Responsibility:

  • Set up printing jobs by selecting appropriate settings, loading digital files, and configuring printing parameters according to job specifications
  • Operate print machine(s) independently for all types of jobs
  • Handle and prepare printing materials, including loading paper, adjusting settings, and managing inventory
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks on printing equipment, such as cleaning, calibrating, and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Consistently achieves expected throughput/efficiency
  • Able to run 100% mail well for critical clients
  • Provide proper adjustments to meet established hourly production standards
  • Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements
  • Reconciling/recording for all output
  • Accurately use job data capture to track time
  • Ensure that the printed materials meet quality standards by monitoring the printing process for consistency, color accuracy, and print quality
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area
  • Effectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final output
  • Reviews schedule for jobs assigned daily
  • reports issues back to Supervisor
  • Follow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation procedures

Requirements:
